People ask me how long I've been painting. Here's the proof...I started very young..
In my world the creative process is fun and fun inspires my creativity. It doesn't get much better than that. The best part is when others share my love of color and design and are equally enthusiastic.
I grew up in Quincy, MA and was able to take classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston as well as classes with wonderful oil painters. From there I studied with wonderful instructors at Lesley College which lead me to become an art teacher.
Fortunately, I have relatives who not only shared my talent but enspired me to embrace it. Throughout life I concentrated on photography, drawing, painting, fabric art and jewelry making. My work leans toward fresh, whimsical, often abstract designs that allow me to incorporate my love of color and design. What I have found is that whimsical art in the home offers a nice break from the often less whimsical circumstances of life.
I was content enjoying my talents for myself, my family and friends. Eventually I branched out to offer my work at local shows and businesses. Now , after everyone's encouragement I am excited to share them and offer them to you.
I am very excited to introduce my Schneblies® to you. They're adorable, cool and charismatic. I'll bet you've never seen frogs like these before! To learn more about them, be sure to click on the Schneblies® link.
Designing jewelry is another passion of mine, and I have designed fabulous Schneblie® pieces that I call SchneBling®
Whether it's jewelry, art, or any of the goodies soon to be available...you gotta have a Schneblie®!
Remember, everything happens for a reason.
